Journal of Forest Products Business Research
Purpose
The purpose of the Journal of Forest Products Business Research (JFPBR) is to provide a forum for the publication of timely, rigorous, technically sound, scientific research manuscripts that focus on the forest industry. This international, peer-reviewed, technical e-journal is dedicated to the recognition and growth of the academic field of forest products business, particularly management and marketing. The JFPBR strives to disseminate new knowledge bridging the scientific and professional communities.
Article Types
The JFPBR accepts three types of manuscripts: scientific papers, synthesis papers, and editorials. Regardless of type, articles contribute something new to the body of scientific knowledge in the broad fields of forest products business and marketing. Research papers, theoretically or empirically oriented, describe investigations directed to the discovery of new knowledge. Synthesis papers summarize published and unpublished information that describe the state-of-the-art in scientific knowledge on a topic. Editorials allow members of the scientific community to express their opinions regarding the field and the state of research.
Publication Process
All published articles have undergone initial review by the Editor, Steven Shook, University of Idaho, a double-blind review process with two reviewers deemed technically capable of such review, as well as review from one member of the Editorial Board.

Articles will be posted as they are accepted, and subscribers will be notified of the postings.

Subscriptions
Access to the articles posted online for the Journal of Forest Products Business Research is available by subscription only. Subscription rates are $25 per year for members of the Forest Products Society; $50 for nonmembers; and $100 for library subscriptions. As a benefit of Student Membership in the Forest Products Society, Student Members receive a free subscription to the JFPBR. A subscription form is available in PDF format.
