Louisiana Forest Products Development Center, Louisiana State University Agricultural Center

Established in 1994, Louisiana Forest Products Development Center (LFPDC), part of the School of Renewable Natural Resources, LSU AgCenter, provides research and technical assistance to the primary and value-added processing wood products industries in Louisiana, USA. Since its inception, the LFPDC has made great strides and is currently firmly positioned as one of the most recognized and productive forest products research and outreach centers in the United States.

NHLA was founded in 1898 to establish a uniform system of grading rules for the measurement and inspection of hardwood lumber.

TECO

TECO is North America's value-added, truly independent third-party certification agency for all types of structural and non-structural panel products, including OSB, plywood, particleboard, and MDF panels We also inspect and test deck and guard-rail components, other building product types requiring ICC-ES code report inspections, and structural wood adhesives and formaldehyde emissions of panel products.

Timber Products Inspection, Inc. 

Timber Products Inspection, Inc. is an independent, third-party wood products inspection, testing, and consulting company with field representation throughout the United States. We provide professional inspection and auditing services for grade stamping, pressure treating, heat treating, panel manufacturing, pallet manufacturing, log/timber frame manufacturing, truss manufacturing, utility product manufacturing, engineered products manufacturing, and green building programs. 

Western Wood Products Association

Western Wood Products Association (WWPA) represents softwood lumber manufacturers in the 12 Western United States and Alaska. WWPA is the Western lumber industry leader in lumber grading, rules writing, and quality control inspection; in creating and distributing technical information to professional users worldwide; and in maintaining the most comprehensive statistical information.

California Redwood Association

The California Redwood Association is the trade association for redwood lumber producers. The member mills of the CRA produce quality products and are dedicated to responsible stewardship of their private redwood forests.

The Center for Renewable Carbon functions across the units of the University of Tennessee  (UT) Institute of Agriculture.
